This time we decided to book a private excursion with Edgar Camera from Kooten Waye Travel, and we couldnā€™t have been happier with our decision!

We snorkeled with the sea turtles in Akumal and explored three different cenotes. It was exactly the kind of day we wanted, and Edgar made it even better!

I canā€™t say enough good things about this guy! Edgar was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. He made sure we got to do everything we wanted, never made us feel rushed, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. And the price was fantastic compared to the other excursions we looked at!

This was all part of celebrating Bobā€™s 60th birthday, and we couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience. So many wonderful memories made! ā¤ļø

If youā€™re heading to Mexico, PLEASE look up Edgar at Kooten Waye! I canā€™t recommend him enough. Weā€™ve already decided heā€™ll be our go-to guy every time we return to Mexico. We wouldnā€™t think of booking with anyone else!

This one was up nextā€¦ and sheā€™s actually already finished. šŸ‘€ But Iā€™m not showing you the after just yet!

If this piece were yours, what would YOU do with it? Would you paint it? Keep some of the wood? Go light, dark, bold, neutral?

And if youā€™ve refinished something similar, tell me what you did!

I already made my choice and picked the colorā€¦ so now I want to know: what do you think I chose? šŸ˜

Iā€™ll share the finished piece soon!

I just had to share this beautiful piece created by Karen Seyler ,one of the talented local artists at AnitaTrinket in Fleetwood!

She used Fusionā€™s Embossing Paste to create this amazing texture on canvas , and I just love how it turned out! Itā€™s such a great reminder that Fusion Mineral Paint products arenā€™t just for furniture. There are so many creative ways to use them!

And this is just one example of the unique things youā€™ll find at AnitaTrinket! The shop is filled with so many talented local artists and vendors, each bringing something different and special. Thereā€™s always something new to discover, and thatā€™s part of what makes this little shop so special! ā¤ļø

A little flashback to where it all began! šŸ’™

This dining table was actually the very first piece of furniture I ever sold!

Several years ago, before Vintage Sweetheart Designs was even a thought, I bought this table for my own home. At the time, I had fallen in love with the Fusion Mineral Paint color Champness and just HAD to use it on something!

Back then, I wasnā€™t really thinking about whether a color would work in my house. šŸ˜‚ I just loved the color, thought it would look beautiful on a dining table, and went for it!

Well, I was right about one thing. It looked beautiful! Unfortunately, it just didnā€™t work in my home.

I was actually pretty sad when I decided to list it on Facebook Marketplace. This photo was shared by the customer who purchased it, showing the table in her home with her own chairs. I loved seeing it find the perfect spot!

Little did I know that one table would change everything.

What started as a furniture purchase that didnā€™t quite work out turned into a little side gig refinishing furniture, and eventually led me to becoming a Fusion Mineral Paint retailer.

I certainly didnā€™t have a business plan. I just loved painting furniture, and I already knew how much I loved working with Fusion.

Funny how something that didnā€™t work out the way you planned can turn into something you never even imagined! ā¤ļø

Another one of our pieces has officially found its place at home. šŸ¤

This sweet little table was refinished with Milk Paint by Fusion, using the natural character of milk paint to create that textured, perfectly chippy finish we love so much.

It was purchased at AnitaTrinket, and seeing it now styled in our customerā€™s home is such a fun full-circle moment.

We are incredibly thankful for every person who chooses one of our pieces, supports our little business, and takes the time to share a photo with us afterward. It truly means so much!
