Kalinaw means peaceful. This sign will hang above a ranch gate that will welcome missionaries taking a break, a place where they can be taken care of. The wood is reclaimed from the same property and the letters were cut to size, traced, hand-routed and stained.

We could have made this a guessing game but just keep scrolling…it’s a podium! Was fun making a modern version of something so traditional, and even more meaningful that a good friend will preach the good news from it at a new church plant.

We had the honor of building two tree benches and a journal circle this spring for the All Saints’ Lower School.

Our sweet neighbor needed a planter box upgrade to home draping plants. The hope is that the plants will hide the brick abnormality, which is lovingly called The Mole.

A successful weekend picking up logs to mill and cure for future projects, including Huisache, Osage Orange, Cedar and White Oak. ⁠

We held a quick contest in May to see if you could guess the type of raw wood we were working with and the contest winner took this mesquite cutting board home yesterday as her prize.
