Ever wondered if your child needs any vaccines to start school this fall? If you child sees their doctor each year, it depends. Most children will only need vaccines at the ages of 4 and 11, or before they start 7th grade. Your college student may need vaccines to register for classes. Talk to your Pediatrician. Here is what the CDC has to say about vaccines: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines-children/

Get your child's vaccines in June or July before the vaccine supplies are gone. Use the link in our flyer to make your appointment today before school starts.
UNTHSC Pediatric Mobile Clinic is ready for summer. We are fully stocked for required 7th grade vaccines.
Did you know that a regular vaccine schedule suggest that before your student may enter the 7th grade, they are required to receive one does each of Meningitis and TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) and it's recommended that your student receive one of two doses of the HPV (Human Papilloma virus) vaccine. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/hpv/hcp/recommendations.html .
