I’m a little delayed for this post. Also, the first ended up getting deleted. But, I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for coming out and supporting all of the small business last weekend at the SML W**e Festival. We met a lot of great people, while also, chatting with some old friends and customers.
I also wanted to throw out some good small businesses that we talked with. We had good conversations, w**e, wh***ey, and acquired a little advice along the way.
Our vender neighbor Ian at Garlands Liquid Gold out of Lynchburg has some of the best honey I’ve ever had. He is a kid that works hard and can even put up with me chatting him up for 2 days. His hot honey is super tasty also. I’ve literally used his honey all week, from dinner to my teas.
Christine at Star Hill Boards has a lot of energy and puts out some great charcuterie boards and food. She is working on opening a store front in Vinton hopefully soon. Hopefully, a future collaboration will be in play and take us more into the public’s eye.
If you’re looking for some good sweets, check out Cookies By Krist10. We have known Kristin for a very long time and wish her the best. If you see her out, swing in for something sweet.
Billy at Billy’s Slapp n Sauce is a heck of a local guy. Super nice and supportive of what we were doing. He fed wings out all day and had some great sauces. He still was full of energy after a busy day. You may have seen him around at the Union Hall farmers market.
The guys over at Hill Too Distillery out of Maidens, Va were amazing as well. I chatted them up and they seemed pretty genuine in supporting all of the small businesses. Especially spreading some advice and purchasing from us, just to help.
I know there are way more to mention but, these were some of the best people we met. There is more to come from us in the future and I’d like to think everyone for the support over the last six months. We are still going, learning, and trying to put out some pretty great products. Although, we may be a little biased.
