This piece is a charming example of a refurbished antique sideboard or server, blending traditional craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic. It features a striking contrast between the natural, rich-grained wood of the upper drawer fronts and tabletop, and a deep, matte navy blue paint on the legs and base. It is accented with simple, round brass k***s and traditional keyhole escutcheons.
This versatile piece would make an excellent entryway console, dining room server, or even a unique vanity. It strikes a great balance between preserving the character of a vintage find and updating it for a contemporary home.
Thank you, Andy and Cynthia, for asking me to refinish it for you! 💙🤎

This dresser is a striking Mid-Century Modern design, blending clean lines with contemporary sophistication. Finished in a rich matte charcoal-black, the piece is accented by a warm walnut-toned horizontal reveal that adds depth and visual contrast.

The dresser features a balanced, geometric drawer configuration with minimalist drawer fronts, creating a streamlined silhouette characteristic of classic mid-century styling. Mixed hardware enhances its character—sleek brass wave pulls on the upper outer drawers are paired with understated round brass k***s, offering subtle visual interest without overwhelming the design.

Tapered legs capped with brushed brass ferrules elevate the cabinet, lending a light, airy appearance while reinforcing its mid-century roots. The combination of dark painted surfaces, warm wood accents, and metallic details creates a refined, timeless aesthetic that works beautifully in modern, transitional, and vintage-inspired interiors.
