Monkwood Art & Studio Furniture Designed to Inspire Creative Thought and Focused Work Within a few months we were shipping tables to people all over the country!

Monkwood began without me really knowing it...

After working in London for 7 years as a pastor I moved back to California with a family of 5 and no clue what to do or a 'living'. I found a few good deals on some used tools and started to dabble in my pre-England profession of woodworking. After several custom projects I started to really get the building bug in a big way. My wife Pamela and I started designing our own pieces for our home that we began to post on Etsy.com. We are now opening a new workshop/studio within the thriving Magoski Arts Colony in Downtown Fullerton, CA. We will be hosting wood workshops as well as participating in the monthly Fullerton Artwalk every 1st Friday night. And yes, we'll be making some great furniture and art everyday for our local and 'not so local' customers. Thanks so much for stopping by our FB page and don't for get to Like it on the way out (if you actually did;) That way we can continue to share the never ending cycle of dusty new ideas that are created here by hand. Everyday. Till God knows when...

Analog glow in the of .

Kevin‘s been a long time client and collaborator over the years. He carefully collects and curates his gear for maximum idea output and timeless sound. I made his custom SD88XL to fit his synthesizer. it’s a one-of-a-kind design that features sliding smoked glass shelf to hide and feature the instrument when in use. Also made a custom housing for one of his vintage preamps. It’s somewhere among this collection. Thanks for sharing this Kevin!
