Some old-school refinishers would actually remove product labels so their apprentices couldn’t learn all their secrets!

Working on something pretty big here… gonna take a lot of work but I think it’s going to be amazing. We are taking everything we learned from our in person refinishing classes and getting them to the masses.

If you wanna see a show with a super positive message… go check out a Hawthorne Heights show in your town.

We have now seen them twice in the last 3 days and was the best experience.. especially bringing our 6.5 year along for his first rock/emo concert. He had such a blast at the Hangar 24 Redlands HANGER BANGER night 1, that he wanted to do it again. All I can say is that it was worth the time and money. Parents… do the hard thing and make this happen for your kids. The memories of these songs as a teenager are coming back in new ways as a dad. Gonna be something we do often!

Old school tip…

Before painting black paint or lacquer… stain the wood dark dark brown or black first. This will help with coverage of the paint and will also help the customer down the road.

When they chip or scratch it one day, they will have a dark stain under helping hide the damage. If it was light wood, you would have a contract and the damage would stand out like a sore thumb
