Ever wonder what happens before your furniture gets its beautiful new fabric?

Upholstery is more than just pulling off the old fabric and putting on the new! Depending on the piece, a project can involve removing layers, inspecting the structure, replacing worn foam, making repairs, cutting fabric, sewing, and carefully fitting everything back together.

Every piece has its own little surprises, which is why we like to see furniture in person before providing a final estimate.

It's a labor of love, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

We love seeing our students learn new skills and bring their furniture projects back to life! ❤️ And just look at what they've accomplished! All the projects in the picture are students' work! We're so proud of what they've created!

After our current workshop sessions wrap up, we'll be taking a little holiday break and will reconvene in January!

📅 January workshop dates have not been set yet, and we'd love your input as we start planning our next sessions!

Remember the reel we shared? Here's the adorable completed chair in question!

This one has a pretty cool story. It came with an older home that our customers are in the process of restoring. How fun to be able to give some of the original pieces a little love along the way! 🏡❤️

It came to us covered in some very outdated green velvet and now look at her! A beautiful, rich navy velvet that completely brought this little chair back to life.

We can’t wait to see it back in its home where it belongs! There’s just something extra special about restoring a piece that has been part of a home’s story for years.

This rocker came to us looking a little… tired. But underneath all that wear and tear was a beautiful piece just waiting for a second chance!

After the teardown, a little TLC, some fresh fabric, and a whole lot of upholstery magic later: LOOK AT HER NOW! 😍

We love taking pieces that seem past their prime and giving them a fresh new life. From “I don’t know about this one…” to fresh, beautiful, and ready to rock again!
