❤️ One Man’s Final Wish. A Legacy of Love.
Sometimes, an estate sale is about much more than the things left behind. Sometimes, it’s about the story of the person who left them.
Mr. McCool experienced a loss no parent should ever have to endure. He lost his daughter to cancer. Through that heartbreak, he developed a desire to help other children and families facing the same devastating battle.
Mr. McCool wanted his estate to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that held a special place in his heart.
Sadly, his health declined rapidly, and over time, so did the condition of his home.
Now, Country Roads Estate Sales faces a difficult challenge: sorting through what remains, salvaging what we can, and finding the greatest possible value in the things he left behind.
We want to be upfront. This won’t be one of our beautifully staged estate sales. The condition of the home presents challenges, and we simply won’t be able to prepare and display everything the way we normally would.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t value here, or a reason worth showing up for.
This is where our community comes in. ❤️
We’re asking you to come shop, explore, and help us make the most of what remains. Every item we can save and sell is another opportunity to honor the generosity behind his wishes.
