We’ve had product featured on TV – in Bryant Park in NYC – but love to keep it simple and help the small families who want something custom in their home. Our goal is to keep the small town feel – show the love in our work – and enjoy every second. Ryan quit his job working for a large university and coaching college track & field – and is doing Lumber2Love full time now! Yes – he got his degrees, took the safe route – but quit for woodworking! A dream come true really. He even has one of his best friends working with him. I mean – Ryan literally plays in sawdust all day. Amanda is the brains behind our communications and organization-operations at L2L. Prior to taking over, she was a full time early childhood specialist, overseeing classrooms around Michigan, making sure they were running smoothly and giving students what they needed. Since then, she has completely revolutionized how we communicate and provide customer service to you! She is a machine and will guide you through your entire purchase experience. Lumber2Love has transformed so much in the past couple years, and it continues to do so! We’ve expanded our product line, incorporated custom engravings and live edge pieces, and have completely embraced owning our own business. We’ve added a second shop to help with production and are striving to make this into something special. We now have anywhere from 15-20 employees building all of your custom pieces. Some are skilled craftsman with years of experience, and others are just getting their hands dirty. We love hiring people with a great work ethic and personality, but not necessarily all the wood working abilities. We can teach that! We want great people by our side, who actually care about what they are doing and love the process. And this is what Lumber2Love is all about. So, give us a shot.
