Recently, I finished this quilt for some friends who retired from the aviation business. I had some extra fabric to make a few travel bags as well. The planes were a bit tricky, but I figured it out about half way thru! The fabric was perfect for this quilt❤️

Original vintage feed sacks-they are so inspiring and so hard to find! I just love these vintage prints from the depression era, which clothed so many children and made so many quilts and aprons during those lean times.

Now, they are repurposed again to hold my iPad. They make me happy!

I did a retreat last weekend at the beautiful Birch Trail Resort in Minocqua with the fabulous Bonnie from Lakegirlquilts. So many great techniques were learned and friendships made! Can’t wait for next year ladies!
