Time really flies, but looking back, these past six years feel like a lifetime of growth; both for the store and for me personally.
October 20th marked 6 years since we opened our doors, and it’s also my 6-year anniversary of diving headfirst into this business. When I started, I never could have imagined the path ahead or how much this work would shape me.
For me, the last six years have been a story of grit, adaptation, and heart. I’ve grown up alongside this business, taking on new management responsibilities, pushing through the wild ups and downs in retail and learning how to keep moving forward when life throws the unexpected your way.
We’ve had incredible highs, like expanding our showroom to bring you more options, and profound challenges—most notably, learning how to navigate business after Jeanie’s cancer diagnosis forced her to step back. Stepping into that leadership vacuum while dealing with the personal and professional weight of it all has easily been the hardest hurdle of my career.
Yet, standing here today, I feel mostly just an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, our family, and our store through every single season. We couldn’t have made it here without you. ❤️🏡
