The Village of Greenville is a thriving community located west of the City of Appleton with a population of 13,163 and growing.

On May 24, 2021 at the Joint Town and Village board meeting, Greenville (Town and Village) entered into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement which reunited Greenville into one; the Village of Greenville. Per the terms of the agreement (30 day waiting period) the final reunification ordinance was approved by the Village Board on June 28, 2021. There is more to do and we are working hard to ensure that the transition is a smooth one for all residents. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transitional time.

The contractor will give the Post office a 5 day notice when mail shall be delivered to mailbox's again. Once that is given, there will be an update out to everyone about when mail will be delivered to your properties. The project completion date has moved to November 19.

RECRUITMENT UNDERWAY FOR NEW VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR

The Village Board has engaged Wisconsin-based search consultant Public Administration Associates (PAA) to assist in the recruitment and selection of a new Village Administrator.

Former Village Administrator Travis Parish served Greenville from February 2021 to October 16. He started work on October 19 as the new Town Administrator for the Town of Grand Chute.

PAA is also providing interim management services to the Village. Greg Buckley, who retired as Two Rivers City Manager in 2025 after a 44-year career in local government, began serving as Interim Village Administrator for Greenville on October 19.

Applications for the position are due by November 21. The Village President and Village Board anticipate narrowing the field of applicants to several finalists, who will be invited to Greenville for tours, interviews and an assessment center in December. Their goal is to have a new Village Administrator on board by mid to late January 2027.
