Yesterday, 48 neighbors gathered at FOCUS for "Thy Will Be Done", a community prayer event centered on the Lord's Prayer.

There was something beautiful about an entire room bowing their heads together. But perhaps the most powerful moment came as we reflected on these words:

“Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

For a moment, the room grew quiet. We were invited to search our hearts, to forgive those who had hurt us, and to surrender what we had been carrying.

No words needed to be spoken aloud. Just a quiet moment between each of us and God.

Thank you to the pastors who led us and every neighbor who joined us in prayer.

48 people. One heart. One prayer. Thy will be done. 🙏

We're Better Together. 💛💚💙

“Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11

We pray these words so often. But have you ever stopped to think about what they mean to someone who doesn't know where their next meal will come from?

We serve people every day who are praying for exactly that, their daily bread. And here at FOCUS, we get to see God answer those prayers through the generosity of our community.

Every bag of groceries. Every meal shared. Every act of kindness.

A reminder that God hears our prayers and often uses the hands and hearts of others to answer them.

When Jesus taught us to pray, He reminded us to trust our Heavenly Father for what we need each day.

And what a privilege it is to be part of His provision!

🙏 Join us Tuesday, October 27, at noon at the Philomena Family Center for Thy Will Be Done, our Community Prayer Event, as we come together in gratitude, faith, and prayer.

“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:9–11

We're Better Together.

Different churches. Different backgrounds. One Father. One community. One prayer.

There is something beautiful about setting aside our differences and coming together in faith, gratitude, and prayer.

No agendas. No divisions. Just grateful hearts united in prayer.
