Buttercup's Painted Cottage Specializing in one-of-a-kind hand painted furniture pieces and reimagined and embellished jewelry boxes Hi there! Open by appointment, please send me a message.

I’m Donjia Huffmon, the artist behind Buttercup’s Painted Cottage — a cozy home studio in Hanford, California, where vintage charm meets handcrafted beauty. After 25+ years in the business world, I followed my heart and turned my passion for design into a full-time creative journey. At Buttercup’s, I specialize in transforming vintage and antique furniture into one-of-a-kind pieces with timeless, romantic style. Each item is carefully chosen, artistically restored, and painted by hand — perfect for anyone who loves cottagecore, shabby chic, or heirloom home décor with soul. I also offer vintage glassware, jewelry boxes, and curated décor, all made or selected with care and attention to detail. My mission is to bring warmth, personality, and a little touch of nostalgia into your home — while keeping craftsmanship and sustainability at the heart of everything I do. Thanks for being here and supporting handmade art!
