Authorities have arrested a 19 year old and a 20 year old following a multi-state cattle theft investigation.

The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association have two suspects in custody in connection to the theft of nine yearlings and transporting them across state lines into Oklahoma to be sold.

The stolen Texas cattle were sold in Oklahoma and the financial trail allowed authorities to zero in on the suspects.

"Livestock theft has a devastating financial impact on hard-working ranching families," a TSCRA spokesperson stated, according to KSST Radio.

The two face felony charges and the case remains open as authorities continue to trace additional cattle and possible other accomplices.

ICE activity in southwest Kansas is raising concerns for the region’s meatpacking industry — and cattle markets are watching closely.

Leaders in Dodge City, Garden City and Liberal say the increased federal immigration enforcement activity came without advance notice. Some businesses closed Wednesday, while production at National Beef in Liberal was temporarily disrupted.

Jerry Stowell of Country Futures says the situation has affected workers at area beef plants, calling the region “infested with ICE agents” and pointing to a sharp drop in cattle slaughter so far this week.

How embarrassing it is to be an American right now. Clown face started a war he can't even finish. In the process, he is going to bankrupt the entire country like he did all of his own personal business endeavors (including his social platform that's going bankrupt as we speak).

Honestly? I can't wait to see which way our economy blows! This is the best reality TV show in the world right now. You genuinely can't make this s**t up. I give it ~90 days before it comes to a head. 🐲

Higher prices of... well, everything, is coming. Then those shortages I was talking about a while back, they'll come after... even more price hikes.

I expect we will see a diesel export ban next, which is just more "buying time" for those midterm votes he's probably going to rig anyway with the help of his voter-registration-data-hacking buddy, Elon Musk. 😂

We have a small litter of piglets growing now for our annual Spring harvest. Beyond that, we intend to discontinue all public production of meat. 💔

Like most farmers, we can't financially afford to continue breeding, growing, & selling high quality meat to the public.
