Love a good drop-leaf table!

This one was badly broken during a move. I reattached the broken section, filled the veneer loss with solid walnut, and finished it off with a shiny new coat of clear.

Finally got to use my antique furniture clamps!

A while back a lady "gifted" me these clamps. I was at her house for an assessment and she mentioned she was getting rid of them, unless I wanted to take them. She claimed they are over 100 years old, salvaged from an old furniture factory. They have been hung on the wall here at the shop since, and today I was very excited to try them out.

Who knows, really. They are very old.

Headed to the festival tomorrow? Come on down to the Blue Ridge B**r Garden at the end of main street! I'll be there with a handful of chairs for purchase, weaving a chair with shaker tape, talking to folks, and hanging out. Vendors are there from noon til 4! Let's talk furniture! And apples, of course.

Have a great night, yall.
