GEN CON DAY 2!
We had SO many wonderful people stop by the booth yesterday, and I have to say… I absolutely love being at Gen Con. The vibes are immaculate.
Having customers stop by and tell us how much they love their Legacy Game Tables is genuinely one of the best feelings in the world. Getting to hear the stories, see the pictures, and watch people get excited about their tables makes all the long hours and hard work worth it.
But I have to admit that being here, setting up the booth, walking the halls, and experiencing all these moments, is weighing heavily on my heart this year because we are missing our Crit Fail Queen, Jodi Black.
I don't think I can even put into words how much I owe to Jodi and Clint Black , or how much I admired her. It hurts knowing that she should be here with us, wrapped up in these moments, laughing, meeting everyone, and doing what she loved.
So, in her spirit, I managed to grab a couple of pictures with some absolutely amazing customers yesterday before running off to take care of our little 3-year-old and leaving James and Zoey to the horde! 😂❤️
And today, we have the incredible honor of hosting the Crit Fail Queen Hour a one-hour livestream dedicated to celebrating Jodi's life and the impact she had on all of ours.
Rem Alternis will be hosting and will be joined by a handful of guests as we share some of our favorite Jodi Stories right here from Gen Con.
🕗 Today, 8–9 PM Eastern
📺 Live on Gen Con Studio: https://twitch.tv/GenConStudio
📍 In person: ICC Room 115 (Viewing)
It would absolutely fill our hearts to see you there. Whether you're watching online or sitting with us in the room, we would love to have you.
If you're at Gen Con, stop by Legacy Game Tables, Booth #2471, where all of the submitted Jodi Stories will be printed and collected in the Green Book. Even if we don't have time to read every story on the air, we want to make sure every one of them has a place.
And if you'd like to get a "Critical Fail" pin like Jodi used to wear, stop by Doctor Gus Designs at Booth #2250.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, shared a story, hugged us, or simply said hello. This Gen Con is different, but having all of you here makes it a little easier.
Now… back to the hoard.
