Welcome to whats in the shop Wednesday! This week we got in a very grand and gothic secretary desk that is just about ready to find a new home (DM us if you love it as much as we do!), a (nearly) invisible repair on an MCM rocker, a sanded church pew, fresh paint and 2K poly on a dining table, and veneer repairs on a beautiful bar!

Whats in the shop Wednesday! Starting off with a new F&F experiment: lamps! We were inspired by a lamp made by for our fundraiser last year using salvaged wood, and came out so lovely we just might have to make a bunch! 💡 We are also putting finishing touches on 1/5th of a beautiful walnut bedroom set, stripping a coffee table, welcoming a new dresser into the shop that will be our next F&F original (anyone need a big custom dresser? 😉), and a light refinish and reupholstery on twin chairs 🪑 Tine in next week! 🎥

Whats in the shop Wednesday! This week we took some time to rearrange our shop before putting a topcoat on our lovely Rway set (she finally found a home!!), finishing a Widdicomb dresser, fixing up a pair of Cesca replica chairs, and moving on to the sanding stage of a big beautiful bedroom set!

Whats in the shop Wednesday! This week we are sealing a beautiful cedar chest, finishing up a mahogany secretary, almost done with repairs on an antique inlay vanity, starting up an F&F poker table, more sealing on R-Way and Widdicomb dressers, and finally stripping 1/4 of a great MCM bedroom set!

Just completed a repair and refinish on this lovely lil’ drop leaf side table, made by our client’s father! It came to us flaking and in pieces, so we carefully reassembled it and gave it a fresh topcoat.
We love furniture with a story, and it’s so exciting to bring sentimental pieces (no matter how small) back to their former glory.

Whats in the shop Wednesday!
We’ve got a lovely pine table with some big repairs, two side tables done being toned and awaiting a final coat, a cedar chest (arg mateys! 🪎), a beautiful visible repair on an antique vanity, a secretary that just got some repairs and fresh stain, and a Widdicomb dresser just beginning its refinish journey!

Whats in the shop Wednesday! We’ve been loving mixing our own toner with seal coat and transtint dyes recently, so this week is pretty much a tour of all the pieces getting toner treatment in the shop! Plus, a lovely antique secretary desk and barrister bookcase!

Whats in the shop this Wednesday? We’re still trucking away on this beautiful jarrah wood outdoor dining set which is set to be oiled and finished this week! Stephanie is doing some detail sanding on these intricate dining chairs, and we’re starting work on a beautiful antique cabinets with mother-of-pearl inlay 🐚🔮
