In the early 1960's The Historic Phillips Forest Products, originally built from wood, was destroyed by fire. This fire dramatically shifted our history to become the company we are today.

Perseverance: The American Way

This newspaper was taken from the local De Kalb, Texas newspaper at the time. The photograph, taken after the fire, boast Cecil Phillips watching as the mill is reconstructed from steel, that mill is still producing our wood products today.
