Small hiccup with some shellac but we got it done, that feathering looks gooooooooood!

Finally making some progress on the actual slab and not just the base. I learned a lot but that was a whole lotta trial by fire
Attaching the beam permanently and making mounting plates
These half laps turned out a little tighter than expected, some sanding should loosen them up a bit but damn these look good!
Getting this beam fitted for the legs to make one base
Doing a little science experiment with steel wool, cleaning vinegar, and oak tannins
Making the leg ends for this base. Also didn’t know how much I needed jig saw and router dust collection.
Not the sexiest thing in a table build, but if you gotta glue stuff up and work with rough material, you gotta mill it right
