The Lost Bus

We have been in Bend, OR this last week meeting lots of incredible people during a really tragic time. Just days before arriving there was a shooting at a local elementary school. It’s wild the timing of it all but we’re trusting that we can be vessels of love and support to a hurting community while we are here.

The PNW!!!! We took our time moving from Spokane to Bend, OR with a little Highway 101 action. We’d imagined some epic surf sessions as apart of the rest but this water is way too cold!!

Lesson learnt: building fence in what was once a riverbed is no joke, but working an auger is fun!

A wonderful week at Lutherhaven Ministries building rock climbing towers, mowing lawns and winterising camp. Cruising over state lines and into Spokane to serve with Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Northern Idaho!!! New stop, same state. We are at Lutherhaven Ministries for the week helping with the transition out of summer programming. Loved visiting Redeemer Lutheran Church on Sunday and excited to connect further in the coming weeks.

Also dessert at every meal is kind of a vibe!

A little work, a lot of play.
We’ve spent the last two weeks parked at Old Faithful Christian Ranch, catching up with some of Logan’s old camp friends.
After a busy summer season, these guys are transitioning into fall retreats and getting ready for winter; so we jumped in wherever we could with a few admin, hospitality, and maintenance projects.

And when we weren’t working, we were exploring. We made our way to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.
Our time in Idaho has been incredibly refreshing and restful.
Next stop: Spokane, WA!

From South Dakota to Idaho, getting kicked out of parking spots at midnight and flights that took longer than if we drove … here to week 12 on the road.
So grateful we could attend our friend’s wedding in NH before returning to Old Faithful Christian Ranch to serve for the week.

Huge shoutout to Cassie and Logan with The Lost Bus for partnering with us the last couple of weeks to show the love of Jesus to our community!

Cassi and Logan spent many hours the last couple weeks helping all over Love INC, from the spending time in the RISE workshop to assisting in some tedious yet important data entry. Thank you for all your hard work and we pray you are a blessing to the next community you visit.
