PIPE is a proud sponsor of the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council 4 years running. Check out the photos we took at their inaugural dessert fest at St.Arnold Brewery last weekend!
Advocates, Law Enforcement, Volunteers, Prosecutors, Healthcare Providers, Educators, Social Workers, Legislators and regular people all work together to make sure that no victim of domestic violence feels alone.
At our inaugural Home Sweet Home festival at St.Arnold Brewery, some of Houston, Texas's most prominent dessert chefs joined this effort. They plied their wares for several hours and nearly 200 attendees, all toward the cause of raising awareness, and ultimately making home sweet again for victims of domestic violence.
Thanks to all who made this possible...and remember: we're working together, so no one is alone.

Happy Women's Equality Day!
Today is a day to celebrate when, just under a century ago (more recently than the advent of the automobile or even flight) men granted women the right to vote; a right that was never ours to deprive them.
Now, 100 years on, it's high time to restore rights of equal pay, equal opportunities, equal access to health care, equal freedom to make choices for self and family...and every other right that for some reason we continue to deprive women and girls. Fellow men: a better world for women is a better world for everyone.

Gulf Coast Green is the leading green building conference in the Gulf Coast region. The two day conference, centered on building green education buildings, featured compelling keynote speakers David Orr and Dr. Richard Jackson, ground-breaking education sessions, an invitation only Green Product Showcase of innovative local products and informative curated posters, and a tour of the only Living Building Challenge project in Texas (Monarch Institute). Architecture students from the region competed in a classroom furniture design contest, and sustainable/local/organic/delicious food was provided to attendees.
