We completed restoration on a family Heirloom. We re-veneered the top do to delamination. Then we stripped and refinished the rest of the piece. It turned out lovely and can't wait to get it back to
its owner.

Any furniture that you want to save, that sat in water for any length of time will have to be treated by a professional. Most of the time the color and finish look fine however upon closer examination what we look for on any furniture that was impacted by water is we feel the legs of the pieces. We are looking to feel a roughness that feels like 800 grit sand paper. You will feel a difference between the area that the water has wicked up to on the leg. The leg will feel much smoother above this water line. If gone untreated the color and finish will eventually will come off of these areas. This could also stain your carpet. Highly recommended having a professional help you with your furniture need.
Just returned from our 2014 annual Convention. Great to see many of my colleagues. Learned some great techniques that have been working well for other Medics in there regions. Very excited about our new websites that will allow us to customize and import some of our work.
