Joyce Kathleen De Leon

Joyce Kathleen De Leon is 17 years old and is the youngest daughter of Eleanor and Ambassador Mario De Leon, who is currently the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate in New York. She was born in New York City, but spent her early childhood living in Manila and London. She now resides with her parents in New York City.
Joyce is currently a senior at St. Dominic Academy. She is the President of the school’s Asian Interest Club and is also a member of the school’s Glee Club, National Honor’s Society and French Honor’s Society.

Reyna Elena (Queen Helena, the Empress) of the
35th Santacruzan and Flores de Mayo
Medy Solero Taeza

The Reyna Elena (Queen Helena) is an epitome of charm and happy countenance with a sincere devotion to community service. Medy SoleroTaeza is the third child of six siblings of Amando and Agnes Solero from Catanduanes, Philippines. Medy has a BSBA degree from the University of the East where she has been a consistent scholar during her collegiate years.
Foremost to her heart is community service, although her endearing charisma has earned her numerous personality awards and recognition in the Filipino American community like Mrs. Philippines America 2008-2010 (Federation of Philippine Societies in NJ, Inc.; Mrs. Bicolandia USA 2011; 2012 America’s Five Glamorous Fil-Am Women, Philippine Hearts and Hopes, Inc.
Medy is a devoted and proud mother of two active teenagers – Michael Ian, who is in college and a banker and Jean Gabriel, a consistent gifted student from elementary to Junior High, attends La Guardia Specialized Arts High School. Medy, aside from her active work and social life, still finds time volunteering at San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel and other community organizations. She also counts dancing, cooking, and travelling as her favorite past times.

Reyna Del Cielo (Queen of Heaven) of the
35th Santacruzan and Flores de Mayo
Chelsea Pauline Lumbres



Chelsea Pauline Lumbres is 17 years old and the only daughter of Ricky and Joy Lumbres. She was born in Quezon City, Philippines. Chelsea and her family moved to New Jersey when she was 6 years old.
A consistent honor student, she has volunteered on a number of charity works such as NY Cares, Hoboken Shelter, feeding program sponsored by Lion’s Club Philippines and Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. In addition, she donates blood to the American Red Cross and has donated her hair to Locks of Love, a non profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from hair loss. Chelsea is an 11th grade student at County Prep High School.
