A couple of weeks ago I shared photos of this broken table leg. Today it is finished and ready for pick up. The pictures show some of the process I used. I would like to thank Don Cummons for recommending some amazing epoxy glue. What piece of furniture can I restore for you?

When you use power tools sawdust is the byproduct. However, when you use hand tools you get these wonderful shavings. I have been making molding and cutting rabbets for glass. More to come as I progress on my latest project.

This wonderful antique desk was dropped by the movers. The owner reached out to Cummons Woodworking to see if we could put it back together. I am very happy to say that we succeeded and the desk is back home.

This barrel table came into the shop to be refinished. The finish had suffered damage from sitting in front of a window. Now it has been brought back and has a new lease on life. Cummons Woodworking

This has been a long project for Cummons Woodworking. It started as a dresser that was given to me. My wife had this idea for our half bath however, I would set it aside to work on customers projects. A question I often get ask is what is your favorite part of a project? On this project it was using my brace and bit with an adjustable hole cutting bit. I bought the bit in an antique store for next to nothing. I was amazed at how well it worked. Now this project is finished and I am ready for the next one. Cummons Woodworking can bring that piece of furniture back to life or as you can see in this case a new life! So give me call. Happy Holidays

The last time I posted a picture about this project it was a pile of wood. The dresser had to be enlarged and raised. This was necessary for to work as a half bath sink. I have tried to keep as much of the original wood as possible. Any of the new construction has the same details as the original. Now back to work, there is still a long way to go on this project. Cummons Woodworking where I restore furniture, build new or retro fit something to meet your vision.

This pile of lumber was a small dresser that was in major need of repair. It has cut nails and the saw marks are clear on the panels. This points to it being old. The woodworker spent no time on what was not seen. It appears that it was not a manufactured dresser. Now what is Cummons Woodworking going to do with it. It is going to be rebuilt and made into the half bath sink. Stay tuned for updates. Now what project do you have needing some restoration? Contact Cummons Woodworking for a quote.
