Today we have 2 new quilts to share - Heritage Star and Stormy. Heritage Star has a patriotic feel and features just 13 fat quarters in red, blue and light. Stormy’s fabrics play well with the bold blues, rust and madder colors in the border. Both quilts have kits that can be found on our website - see the link in our bio.

Welcome to Mondays with Marcus. We’ve chosen to honor the Survivor Tree at the 911 Memorial and Museum. On our recent visit to NYC, we had the opportunity to visit the 911 Memorial and when asked to design a quilt that was inspired by our trip, Paula chose the Survivor Tree. Witness trees are a large part of our history. They survive wars and terrorism and remain standing to honor the ones we lost. Our Survivor Tree features Paula’s Seaside collection, but feel free to use any fabrics you may have. The link to our free downloadable pattern is available on our website: www.redcrinolinequilts.com

Spray starching day at the lake house. High 70’s and a nice breeze - perfect day. The fabrics are for a flag quilt exchange with friends. Ran out of room on the drying rack, so I’ll have to finish later.
