Numerous studies show that a young child’s exposure to nature significantly boosts social and emotional growth. Time spent outdoors enhances a child’s emotional self-regulation, stress recovery and social connections.🧭💭

Research further suggests that outdoor learning can offer hands-on, real-world experiences that benefit children beyond the classroom.

At Whitney Brothers® we believe young learners shouldn’t be confined all day to an indoor classroom. Informed by evidence-based research, our award winning outdoorED Collection is a cohesive assortment of purpose-built furniture that intentionally incorporates STEM, sensory, socialization and play-based outdoor learning. 🌲

In this article, education researcher Leslie Stebbins shares more insights on the benefits of outdoor learning. ✨
