I have restored and painted furniture for years. I find items at thrift stores, yard sales and sometimes by the side of the road!
I am always on the lookout for solid wood furniture that I can restore into quality pieces. I also create new furniture and accessories from unusual sources, like turning a cabinet door into a table, or an orphan drawer into a tray. Lots of emotions after The Painted Tree abruptly closed. But after a couple of months of being mad and feeling sorry for myself and my fellow vendors, I have moved on. I just opened up at Nostalgia South on Chapman Hwy. and I love it! It has a very cool vibe and the most interesting collection of merchandise I’ve ever seen! And the music playing is awesome!
