Proof that your bathroom doesn’t have to be boring. 👏
Navy cabinetry.
Moody blue tile.
A patterned floor that completely steals the show. 😍
And crisp, neutral finishes to pull it all together.
This is exactly why we love helping customers look at the whole space instead of choosing finishes one at a time. When the cabinets, countertops, tile and flooring actually work together, this is what happens.
And yes — Lakeland Liquidation can help with more than just the materials. We can help bring the whole remodel together.
Thinking about updating a bathroom, kitchen, or another space in your home? Come see us and let’s start putting the pieces together.

So after an entire week of Quartz vs. Granite...
Who's the winner? 🏆
Neither.
And that's actually the point.
🪨 Granite may be right for you if you love natural stone, unique movement and excellent heat resistance.
✨ Quartz may be right for you if you want lower maintenance, a nonporous surface and more consistency in your design.
But countertops don't exist by themselves.
They have to work with your cabinets, flooring, backsplash, budget, lifestyle and the overall look you're trying to create.
That's where having someone help you put all the pieces together makes a difference.
Not sure which one belongs in your kitchen?
Come see us. Bring your inspiration photos, Pinterest board, cabinet color — whatever you've got — and we'll help you start narrowing it down.

Okay, we've talked durability, heat, maintenance and stains.
Now let's get to the FUN part.
Which one looks better?
And this time there really isn't a winner.
🪨 Granite gives you natural variation. Every slab is unique, with colors, movement and characteristics created by nature.
✨ Quartz gives you more consistency and an enormous range of design options — including everything from quiet, subtle patterns to dramatic marble-inspired veining.
This is also why we don't love choosing countertops from a tiny picture online.
Come see them.
Put the sample next to your cabinet door. Look at the undertones. Touch the surface. See a larger piece when possible.
Because sometimes the countertop you thought you wanted...
isn't the one you fall in love with. ❤️

Coffee gets spilled.
W**e gets spilled.
And if you've got kids... well, everything gets spilled. 😂
So let's talk stains.
✨ Quartz is nonporous, which makes it highly resistant to staining.
🪨 Granite is porous, but when it's properly sealed and cared for, it can also resist everyday staining very well.
With either surface, our rule is pretty simple:
Clean spills sooner rather than later.
Especially highly pigmented or acidic substances.
If you're looking for the option that requires less thought when it comes to staining, though, quartz has an advantage.
Tomorrow we're getting to the part everyone REALLY cares about...
😍 Which one looks better?

"I just want something that's easy to take care of."
We hear you. 😂
If low maintenance is high on your countertop wish list, here's what you should know:
✨ Quartz is nonporous and doesn't require routine sealing.
🪨 Granite is natural stone and may require periodic resealing depending on the stone and the sealer being used.
That doesn't make granite difficult to own — plenty of families happily live with granite for decades.
But when it comes strictly to less routine maintenance, quartz gets the point.
And that leads perfectly into tomorrow's question...
🍷☕ What about STAINS?

🔥 HOT PAN. QUARTZ OR GRANITE?
This is one difference worth knowing.
🪨 Granite: Naturally very heat resistant.
✨ Quartz: Durable, but the resins used in engineered quartz can be damaged or discolored by excessive heat.
So does that mean you should put scorching-hot pans directly on granite?
We still wouldn't recommend making a habit of it.
Use the trivet. 😉
It's an easy way to protect your investment no matter which countertop you choose.
But if you're constantly cooking and heat resistance is high on your priority list, granite has the advantage here.
Tomorrow: Which one is easier to take care of?
