It’s easy to imagine ordering one more drink at Echo Falls Golf Club just to stay on the patio a little longer. The lake wraps around a green, with the golf course and trees beyond it. It’s a distinctly Pacific Northwest view, and one worth settling in for.
The challenge was furnishing the patios for more than one kind of visit. A casual meal, a gathering around a bar top, and a formal event each ask something different of the space.
I approached the project with those changes in mind. I selected the COUTURE Jardin | Outdoor Furniture Sky Sectional in Oak because its modular pieces can be rearranged for different group sizes. The Polo Dining Chairs stack for storage when an event calls for more open space. I also gave Echo Falls options for seated dining and bar-height gathering, so the furniture layout can suit the occasion. Frankford cantilever umbrellas provide shade over the seating areas.
For me, the right furnishings make it possible to linger over that view while giving Echo Falls the flexibility to welcome guests in different ways.
