Put in the Summer 2027 Lori Mitchell order late last night. There are 4 new releases and they should be in the shop in March. There are also rereleases like Lars the Lifeguard and Beach Babe.

POSTPONED! The Kilbourne-Mead hose will NOT move this Wednesday as scheduled. We are having trouble with the wire lines coordination and a miscommunication.

I understand why no one wants to move a house as it’s a huge pain and so many moving part. To say it nicely, I am disappointed!

The house will NOT move Wednesday, Sept 30 as previously thought. Sorry for all the trouble.

Update: we have a time of the house moving! 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 30th, the house will begin its travel down the street, one block to its new home.

McCormick has been busy digging the new foundation. It’s a big house and we will have 9foot ceilings in the lower level. There will be a full bath, three bedrooms and a utility room with egress windows. And that is a lot of dirt! One pile is 20 feet high!

What is interesting as the dug the hole, is the findings of the house from the 1850’s that once stood on our vacant lot. Pictured is the old stone foundation and the old wood beam remains.

Excited to have the time and date for the move.

Yesterday, I got to watch the crew move the house about 30 feet north. It is now in position for the final move from 1214 Center to 1314 Center St. The move will happen on Sept. 30 in the morning (time to be determined) and take about 3 hours.

The house slid on the iron beams with wheels quickly and with ease. But the crew spent hours preparing it.

Today, the foundation hole on the lot gets started. I am not sure if it will all be completed today, but I am excited on the progress.
