Wellness meets community! 💜✨

Release Wellness Group had an amazing time vending at Urban Fest 2026, hosted by the Greater Washington Urban League!

We loved connecting with the community, sharing mental health and wellness resources, and creating space for meaningful conversations.

This was our first vending event, and we’re looking forward to many more opportunities to bring wellness into the community!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table! 💜

Slowing down is an important part of caring for our mental health. 💜

Meditation and gentle yoga practices can help us manage stress, release tension, and support nervous system regulation.

This pose is called Legs Up the Wall, and it’s a simple way to slow down, relax, and reconnect with your body.

The best part? It doesn’t require much time or equipment. Just a few minutes of intentional rest can make a difference.

Remember, rest is a part of wellness, too. ✨

Yoga is more than movement. 🧘🏾‍♀️ It’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the body, practice mindfulness, and support nervous system regulation.

As a therapist, I’m a big believer that caring for our mental health includes caring for the body, too. And as a soon-to-be yoga teacher, I’m excited to continue bringing more mind-body wellness into this space. 🌿✨

When you choose to set a goal for yourself and move with intention, KNOW that distractions WILL come.

Things won’t always go according to plan. You may get frustrated, discouraged, or even question whether you should keep going.

The question is: will you still show up for yourself?
Today’s answer: YES. 🤎✨

Even when the selfie stick breaks mid-content. 😂

Keep going. Keep choosing you. Keep moving with intention.

We heard the women were looking for community, so we figured we better start warming up. 👀😂

It’s been a minute, but the heart of HerSpace hasn’t changed: creating room for women to take off the mask, be seen, be heard, connect, and simply be. 🤎

We’ve grown. We’ve learned. And now we’re ready to build again.

HerSpace is back. And we’re just getting warmed up. ✨

Heal. Inspire. Transform. Connect.

Grateful is an understatement. 🤍

Thank you to Postpartum Support International for trusting me to represent PSI at the Association of Black Psychologists’ 57th Annual Conference. It was an honor to connect with incredible Black mental health professionals, advocate for maternal mental health, and be part of such meaningful conversations.

This experience reminded me that when you keep showing up and stay aligned with your purpose, God will make room for you.

Here’s to continuing the work. ✨

I'm opening a few spots in my therapy practice for women in Maryland and DC.

I specialize in supporting women who are navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, motherhood, and the journey of reconnecting with themselves.

If you've been thinking about starting therapy, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit.

If you know someone who could benefit from therapy, I'd appreciate you sharing this post.
