It's always good to practice, I like playing with colors and patterns, you never know what might look cool. Got bored and did these beetle door panels that are now for sale $600 shipped lower 48

Beautiful hide leather interior went home this week. Custom panel inserts, visors, headliner and seat for an old ford truck.
Working with hide always leaves the upholstery room smelling fresh!

If I could only do headliners and convertible tops for the rest of my life I would. It's tedious work and easy to mess up, I love work like that. I especially like doing headliners because they are always messed up, and having a new one really transforms the interior of a car.
This is one of the rare times where I messed up at the very end. It was beautiful the first time but I cut too far and tore the whole thing out, bought him a new one and re-installed it. It took a couple weeks to get and the client was concerned I wouldn't do it, but I take pride in my work and I take care of my people.
This car came out beautiful, and it's one I always enjoy seeing
