Thank you for your purchase. Thank you for letting everyone know how much you enjoy it. I call them Acorn Canteens. I have thought about purses and even a sporran with similar build. It's pecan harvest time in the Dusty Orchard.

Acorn Canteens will be at the Texas Renaissance Festival starting this weekend October 10th 2026. They will be available at The Knarly Knot Woodworks.

🐶🎅 Dear Santa,

I’ve been practicing my tail wag.
I’ve been practicing my smile.
And I’ve been counting down the days until Christmas in July!

I don’t know if Santa will be there, but I sure hope so!

In the meantime, I’ll be helping at the Heart to Art Creations booth and admiring all the amazing handmade creations.

I've been busy in the shop getting ready for Christmas In July Craft show.

All of the wood used in my projects for this show come from trees that were effected by last years flood. Here are a few of my projects.

The Pandoras Box at Sherwood Forest Faire still has some of my mugs and w**e glasses. Come out this weekend. Wear your garb with gusto. Add a new mug. Enjoy the weather and shows.

The Acorn Canteens at Sherwood Forest Faire at The Knarly Knot are all sold out. Thank you. I've heard about people asking for them. I'm in the shop spinning wood. Hopefully I can have a few completed soon. Being spring time, the pecan orchard has a lot of demands as well.

It is that time. Sherwood Forest Faire opens this weekend. I will be delivering Dusty Dragon Drinkware Sunday to The Pandoras Box where you can purchase these special products.

If you follow Dusty Dragon Woodshop and Orchard you know about the flood from last July 4th. The flood ruined many of my tools. It will take some time to get things back where they were and even longer to get things were I want them. Most of the trees along the river washed away leaving only 3 trees to make some beautiful woodwork. Walnut, sycamore and mesquite are the woods for this batch of goblet and mugs.

See you there.
