The Harvest Table Project
Seven years ago when we started Davis Woodworks, we always had the thought that we would build harvest tables.
In our house, being able to gather around the table, pray together, share a warm meal, laugh, and play board games, is a daily blessing. It's the moment we all slow down for the day to be connected in love.
That was our dream for the Harvest Table Project. That as the Lord called, we would provide a harvest table free of charge to a nonprofit in need.
Yesterday we had the honor of gifting The Bridge House with an eight foot, artisan-crafted farmhouse table that will give youth in foster care the opportunity to gather round the table and be connected in love.
At the Bridge House, their vision is to lead youth out of homelessness and empower them to live a life that will change a life.
This amazing nonprofit is pouring the love of God into children in foster care and youth aging out of the foster care system. That's a mission we can get behind.
