Wrapped up the Elm dining that I had posted about during fabrication. These are the final pics of it including some of its final destination in Florida.

I really liked the clear epoxy on this one!

I have been wanting to make a round table and I had a large maple crosscut collecting dust in the shop for several years. It was broken into three pieces so I was able to purchase for a very fair price. (See last pic).

I used garden edging to create the form and did experience a lot of leaks so need to improve my technique for future ones.

I used a blue liquid dye so it is transparent and looks very much like water. Final size was 54” diameter. What do you think?

I had previously created this Dawn Redwood crosscut but the base was not quite large enough and it was a little tippy for the client. Most of the available bases or leg pairs had the same issue so we went with three Flowyline Design Uzar legs. The result: stability and fluid legs that complement the free form shape of the slab.

I’ve been wanting to make some wall pieces and had this idea bouncing around in my head for an interesting wall shelf. This one is a modest 72”x40” using a Maple crosscut and some white oak for the shelves. I like the forms and intersection much better now that I finally got it mounted as it just does not look as cool laying on its back. What do you think?

I have been working on this 96”x42” Elm dining table that has some advanced clear epoxy work to maintain the fluid lines of the piece. I just finished the top slab and will post again once I wrap up the custom base. How about that grain though?

A client asked me to design an arched headboard with matching nightstands for a king-size bed. I had three beautifully spalted Maple crosscuts, each over 50 inches, from the same tree in my inventory, and the idea was born. I found smaller, similarly spalted Maple crosscuts that I cut in half to form the floating nightstands and the entire piece is hung on the wall with a French cleat. Can I make one for you?

A client asked me to create a small entry table for a wall niche they wanted to fill. They wanted something freeform and live edge but also without epoxy, so I came up with this Dawn Redwood hemisphere top with complimentary tapered Cherry legs. I really liked the look so I made a 2nd one with epoxy and used some rougher Cherry legs to carry the epoxy theme to the entire 2nd piece.
