Labor Day honors work. Ours does not stop for it.

Arkansas cattle producers were up this morning the same as any other morning. Checking water in the September heat, moving cattle, hauling hay, fixing what broke yesterday.

If beef is on your table today, it got there through a chain of people who worked while most of the country had the day off: the producer, the hauler, the plant employees, the truck driver, the person who stocked the case.

Thank you to every one of them. Enjoy the holiday, and enjoy .

We ended the season strong at our final Arkansas Beef Council–sponsored Arkansas Travelers game on Friday. Big thanks to everyone who stopped by to talk all things Arkansas Beef!

We had a great time at the Arkansas Travelers game last week celebrating Arkansas beef with fans from across the state. One lucky attendee took home a door prize filled with Arkansas Beef merchandise. If you’re headed to Dickey-Stephens Park this season, keep an eye out for us!

The Arkansas Beef Council is proud to announce the Wombat Burger from Eoff’s Food Trailer in Delight as the winner of the 3rd Annual Arkansas’ Best Burger Contest.

Today the Arkansas Beef Council announced funding for projects aimed at supporting the growth and market development of Arkansas beef. In FY27, $35,000 will support research projects and $97,000 will support promotion projects.
