Our run was a little lighter due to the chance of heavy rain (Praise the lord!!!) but we still ended up with a little over 900 and had a great day! The stocker cow market was strong and active with several buyers pushing to buy the good end of the breds and pairs and the calf market was pretty steamed up as well.
As always, we appreciate each and every one of you who make our sale in Lockhart possible week after week and we hope to see y’all back with us next Thursday!

Another great Thursday at Lockhart Auction!

We had a house full of buyers and a strong, active market. Calves and yearlings sold mostly steady to slightly higher compared to a week ago, while packer cows and bulls continued to slip a little.
As always, we appreciate our buyers, sellers, and everyone who continues to trust Lockhart Auction to market their cattle. We appreciate it more than you know!
Now we just need Mother Nature to do her part — please join us in praying for some much-needed rain across our area! 🙏🌧️

We hope to see y’all back here next Thursday!
