Excited to introduce the Brine chair. Designed to exemplify form and function, blending clean forms, ergonomic comfort, and natural materials, the Brine chair is the result of the fermentation of my ideas and techniques accumulated over the last years. I am proud of this design and will be introducing variations in the near future, including an armrest version.

Custom extension dining table in walnut.
This piece came about as a result of the client driving by, seeing my garage open, and stopping by since it looked like a wood shop. The client had a batch of walnut with sentimental value that he wanted to use for a dining table. Though beautiful and rich in natural character, the wood had issues and limitations that we designed around.
To use the best parts, we ran the grain widthwise vs lengthwise, which also allowed us to incorporate some of the live edge on the table ends as requested . The lighter sap wood with beautiful spalted patterns is incorporated as a design detail in the seam in the middle, which matches on the extension when it is inserted.
The table top was patched to remove large knots for both aesthetics and function. To offset the rustic character of the wood, the design of the top and the frame was kept very simple and clean, with clean lines and edge accents.
The piece was commissioned by the client as a gift for his daughter and I am grateful to have opportunity to be involved with such meaningful projects.

Set of high back Travis stools. This one was made in golden Teak paired with natural Danish cord and brass on the footrest inlay and joinery details. The wood shows off lots of beautiful character on this set. Pleasure working with on this project in Cabo, Mexico.
