The time has come! After many wonderful years, I have made the difficult decision to retire from the Estate Sale business.
I want to thank the wonderful customers that have loyally followed us, shopped our sales and helped us to become the successful company we are.
Thank you to the clients that put their faith in us to care for their families possessions and help them with the difficult process of letting go. Thank you also, for the countless referrals that helped our company grow and prosper.
Thank you to the realtors, probate attorneys, auction houses, charities, retirement communities and others who recommended us to their clients, used our services, purchased from us or collected donations.
Finally, thank you to my family and friends who helped my dream to become reality. Thank you for staffing my company and giving me your encouragement along the way. Thank you to my daughter, Kristine Deitrich ( our original Operations Manager ), who has always been my biggest supporter and source of strength, to Alex Szakovits ( our current Operations Manager ), who stepped up and took over when Kristine moved on to further her career and who I cherish as if he were my own son. Thank you to Kristi Perez, my first hire and longtime friend of the family and her much needed sense of humor during the early days, to Maura Martin, who could make any home look like it was photoshoot ready and who has become a fantastic friend to me and my family, to Paige Lowman and Eric Gomes, who provided the muscle, and the support to help us accomplish our goals, to Uncle Keith and the DeQuattro Boys, who gave their friendship and assistance and always answered the call, no matter what I needed help with. To Janet Szakovits and Donna Taylor, my extended family who pitched in whenever needed, to Jennifer Corbitt, who has become a wonderful friend and source of support, and to the many others who supported me along the way.
By the way, you'll still see me around! Estate Sales by Emerald has been sold and will now be in the capable hands of Best Wishes Estate Sales. They have asked me to stay on for a while. I'll be there along with their staff for the next several months and together we will ensure the same fantastic sales and great service will continue, as if nothing has changed.
