I wanted to share this. I’ve officially submitted my contest entry for the American Heritage contest! For the DAR American Heritage Contest, I created this patriotic eagle for the Art & Sculpture drawing category. With everything I’ve been dealing with, I’m really happy I managed to pull it off! The judging is under way, so we’ll see what happens! The theme this year was “Celebrating Stars and Stripes - Forever in Our Hearts Through the Arts”.

I wanted to share this. For the DAR American Heritage Contest, I created a comic book page for the drawing category. (It was my first time doing a comic book style!) I was inspired by the artwork style of Heartstopper as well. I kinda psyched myself out somewhat, so it’s not as polished or good as I would have liked, as I ran out of time. Still, with everything I’ve been dealing with, I’m really happy I managed to pull it off! The judging is under way, so we’ll see what happens! The theme this year was “Educating the Next Generation on our Historic American Trails”, and mine highlighted 4 trails in California.

A few recent art pieces I did. One is a painting from We Be Book'n's Paint and Zoom. The other two were done at Pasadena Pints and Pencils art nights. One is an abstract doodle similar to a series I have been working on. The other is a cute Unicorn that I found on the internet and used as a sketch reference. Trying to get out of my head and just make art!! It's good stress relief too.
