Furniture refinishing/ up cycling/ unique and modern re-designing I’m a nature and planet Earth lover. Let the journey begin

Cutting trees and destroying our forests to create more furniture I find completely insane. We already have so much created, all we need is to take it, fix it, clean it and upgrade it to modern looks. Let’s save our planet to our children by reusing what we already have. That’s why I love to recreate and redesign old pieces of furniture and give them new fresh look. Join me and support me and people with the same mission/love/passion because it’s not all about the money and profit.

A V A I L A B L E - this gorgeous 12 drawer dresser was in perfect shape when I got it, only some scratches on top and chipped veneer on sides. So, I came up with an idea inspired by MCM color palette and designs to create something unique and special. It is all built in solid wood, complete covered with teak veneer, even inside of the dresser. I believe that legs and handles are either teak or walnut. All other parts are solid brass, that’s shining back again after some polishing. As a finish I applied 2 coats of pure tung oil to bring teak’s beautiful natural color(each coat cured at least 3 days) and after I decided to apply polyurethane for durable and long lasting finish (since tung oil only does need to be recoated every once in a while). I found the makers stamp from the bottom, Made in Japan by company Pacific, February 1967. I would love to know more about this manufacturer if anyone has more information. I took serious time to finish this piece and I would love to hear your opinion.

This Mr. Stickers was quite a transformation (read: a loads of work, sweat and screams 🤣) But, I just love how it turned out. It’s Ethan Allen, excellent quality, perfect candidate for industrial looking modern dresser. All solid maple.

I truly enjoyed transforming this pretty little armoire/dresser. It is all solid pine, but the finish was dull and outdated. First I tightened what needed to be tightened, replaced bad drawer’s bottoms, scuff sanded it and then painted in my mix of color rattan. After the paint dried I applied burlap to fronts, framed it with new pine trims and everything sealed with matte polyurethane.
New hardware and hinges are spray painted in rose gold what perfectly matched the warm tones of rattan/burlap.

This vintage beauty is all hand built solid mahogany and hand cut dove tails. It’s over 80 years of history brings unbelievable warmth and richness to the space.
The color I mixed for it is rich dark green-gray-black what created very bold, strong and rich character. Drawer’s front are polished with beeswax and orange oil what brought up that beautiful rich tones of mahogany wood.
I LOVE how it turned out! It’s definitely a piece to be admired and enjoyed to.

This beautiful mid 1960’s dresser was my first restoration project. It was severely damaged on top, which I fixed and covered with cool geometric pattern in black to match drawer’s details. I really loved the process of reviving this stunning walnut pattern.

I truly enjoyed working on this piece. It was in such a good shape that cleaning, sanding and the rest of the process were pure joy. I just knew it’s going to be “the keeper”, a piece built to last for generations. This stunning beauty, made of solid oak and oak veneer, represents itself in most beautiful light and quality.
