One more of these went up today. They really do create a lot of storage with minimal footprint. π€©
Might have to make one for myself π€

Ooohhh the fun of mounting on different depths and not squared spaces π
All done with the fireplace, save for a quick staining/finishing before moving on to installing the framed mirror in the bathroom tomorrow.
Also Thankful for Walnut jobs, liquid nails and great clients π

A quick trip to Rockler and a delicious find inside these blocks.
I also fell hard for the Leopard Wood planks so these Egg Cups will soon have their own plate to rest on. I'm going to create a whole "Dippy Eggs & Soldiers Set". π€·ββοΈ
I'm happy with the results considering I don't have a lathe (yet... I Def see one in my future π)
Also, having eaten a lot of Dippy Eggs as a kid, I still wonder why they are usually so top heavy π€π€π€
So, I'm designing these for a more stable "don't-have-to-touch-the-nuclear-hot-egg-anymore-to-eat-it"
Who eats dippy eggs & soldiers on the regular? Or is it more of a European thing?

A Food Palette for The Artist in Him.
And because let's face it, kitchen walls do get a paint job when they learn to eat π
Also, they like to smack it out of parents hands, so this is a bit more of a secured hold.
Spoon and plate are carved out of a vintage Maple cutting board and finished with Food Safe Milk Paint Oil.
Pretty sure I channeled some Seuss energy into this design.

It's home. Lit up and set up.
Wood Couture is my haven.
A small wooden shop in my carport, in the heart of Los Angeles, where I get to create and revive Wood Art and pieces of all kind.
No piece of wood is too big or too small to become something beautiful, to show its grain, its strengths and weaknesses, where it bled and maybe still bleeds.
I am convinced that when no one is watching, wood bleeds Gold and I like to add it back on when it wants to hide its scars.
