Just found out that the bikeshare system I’ve been serving for the last 7 years is going to give Lyft our account. Lyft has failed with micro mobility systems all over the country. Their CEO has even said that they want out of the bikeshare business. Why is providing a union busting, anti-equity, car-centric company the bike share contract? We have families. We have been loyal to our contract. Why are we so unimportant to the people who make the decisions? Please share. Please type “Lyft bike share” in your search engine. Please keep the system under the same management that DID NOT stop service during the pandemic , and instead of shutting down, DOUBLED DOWN and had dedicated routes to disinfect our bikes on a daily basis. We are THE ONLY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN LOS ANGELES THAT DID NOT SHUT DOWN DURING THE WORST PART OF THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. We are here for EVERYONE , and have made forward progress towards equality for everyone when it comes to people powered public transportation. Thanks for reading this far. Well, here’s what I’ve been up to. Is anyone still paying attention to this page?

Time to update. We’ve been closed for a number of years now. I’m happily plugging away at Metro Bike Share here on DTLA. I appreciate all the support, AND all the new likes! I can help with questions about Bicycles, or questions about a new build, but T.V. BIKES is just a fond memory now. I love love LOVE my job with Bike Share, as I’m able to get a whole heck of a lot more people on bikes, and that’s always been my mission. PLEASE ask questions, and I promise I’ll get back to you, but with Cub Scouts, the kid’s basketball and other sports, along with riding, I can’t promise to answer right away.
