I build straight through circuits, no effects loops or channel switching, these both take away from touch sensitivity. The main area of interest these days seems to be the white Bassman, Princeton Reverb, and 32 watt Deluxe Reverb clones. Recent builds include a Low Power Tweed Twin and a 3 x 10 Tweed Bandmaster.

Howdy!! So, the latest news is that Doyle Bramhall and I became acquainted, he liked the idea of a higher-powered Fatboy Supreme with Sour Creme, so I built a 60 watt version with 6550's. He loved it, but realized he needed a head for the tour, so I built him a 120 watt Twinplex which is on stage at some festival at Mammoth tonight (I need to get more involved with the world around me!). Also, Vivian Cambpell's Marshall showed up this week with a blown fuse, this is usually either tubes or a bad power supply capacitor, in this case, his power tr**ny actually shorted. This does not happen often on the JCM800's, but the 900's and the reissue 18 watts are notorious for losing trannies.
I still have the 60 watt FBSWSC, it is in a tweed box with the new Celestion 15" speaker, retail $2400, make me a real offer! The Princeton replica is also waiting to be adopted, it is 18 watts with a 12" G12H30 speaker, Princetons are usually 10's. The Tuki cover is included. Take care, dudes!
Hello, you crazy amp dudes! I actually have a couple things that are for sale. This does not happen often, but I have a one-off in a tweed 1 x 12 cabinet that is essentially one channel of a Deluxe Reverb. It is 30 watts, cathode biased and has volume, treble and bass controls, Mercury trannies. Basic pedal platform amp, grab and go. It has a G12H30 Celestion in it. The amp is new, but because it has hung around, I would like $1500 for it (list $1700). Cash talks.
The other is a Princeton replica, 18 watts, looks just like a BF Princeton with Fender Electric Instrument plates, 4-8-16 output tr**ny (Mercury of course). It currently has a Celestion G12H30, but it could have a 10" speaker also, I have Gold Alnicos and Greenback 10's in stock. Retail $1800, $1600....Make me an offer.
