R.E.S. is reminding you Renters that Your rental insurance "works" better than Home owner insurance on a rental property. Meaning, the fire doesn't need to actually get into your residence in order to be evacuated. Mandatory or not, if air quality is poor you can activate your ALE portion of your renter insurance and check into a hotel( good luck all booked by now...) There shouldn't be any deductible on ALE but check in with your agent or the Hotline.
