We didn't get as far as we wanted to today, but that's okay. It's a hot one out there, prep took a lot longer than expected, but paint is officially being applied! 🎨☀️
Sometimes the behind-the-scenes work takes the most time, but it's all part of the process. We're making progress, one brush stroke at a time, and we can't wait to show you how it's all coming together. Stay tuned for more updates! 🖤

We've been a little quieter on the furniture side lately, and for those who have followed me for a while, you know I also bought a tea room.
Combining two businesses has kept me busy, but things are finally starting to settle down.
So here I am, paintbrush in hand and getting back to what I love. 🖤 We're rearranging, refreshing, and bringing some new life into the store.
Here are a few befores. These definitely need some love! Hopefully we'll have afters later today or tomorrow!

Y'all, as I was restocking after hours tonight, I caught myself standing in the middle of Market Street just looking around and thinking about how dang thankful I am.
Thankful for where I started. Thankful for my old location. Thankful for every person who has helped me along the way. Thankful for the opportunity to buy a second business and somehow keep all these plates spinning. Thankful for the wins, the mistakes, the uphill battles, the setbacks, and all the lessons that came with them.
Because the truth is, every bit of it got me here.
And when I look down this street, I don't just see businesses. I see moms, dads, grandparents, families, and people working their tails off chasing a dream. I see people taking chances on themselves and bringing something special to our little town.
Everybody loves a big chain store, but those businesses had to start somewhere too. Every "big thing" was once a small business with an owner hoping people would walk through the door.
Who's to say the next big thing isn't right here on Market Street?
This street is packed with hardworking people doing their best every single day to bring great food, unique shopping, beautiful boutiques, antiques, gifts, and experiences to Cedar Creek. We may all have different businesses, but we're all working toward the same thing—making our community a place people want to visit and stay awhile.
So if you haven't been down here lately, you need to. Come spend the day with us. Walk the shops. Grab lunch. Meet the owners. Support local.
I may be biased, but I truly believe Market Street in Cedar Creek is the best hometown shopping experience around. ❤️
And for all of us lucky enough to call it home... we're just getting started.
