Join us for this Zoom workshop on a challenging topic!
In this workshop, we will focus on the difficult decisions that come with the passing of time. Whether you are concerned about leaving behind a lifetime of possessions for your loved ones and want to spare them the time, expense, and emotional cost of sorting out your estate, or if you have experienced the death of a loved one and have been solely or partially responsible for disposing of their belongings, this class will help you to manage this challenging process.
We will review the basics of getting things in order to reduce conflict and confusion, including some of the following issues:
What should I consider when making an estate plan?
A few words about probate and executors.
How can you divide up things fairly and without causing family drama?
What are some resources for finding the value of things?
What should you do with all the household things that no one really wants?
When a loved one has passed away, what are the steps you should take and when?
And, how can I plan now to make this process easier for my loved ones when the time comes?

✨Well, this is exciting!✨You can buy my floral design, Serenity, ✨❤️✨ I just love it. When I saw the antique hydrangeas and the parchment roses, they look like they are made of paper, I knew I wanted to see them together. Then the seeded eucalyptus is so calming. Just a truly elegant and peaceful arrangement. ✨✨Thank you, !

✨Flowers are one of life’s great pleasures. But flower arranging can be challenging. Where to start? Here are some tips I learned as Designer for a Day !✨
Every morning the shop goes to the flower market to order the flowers needed for the day.
The floral designers go into the cooler with a bucket to select the flowers for each arrangement.
Then, they prepare the vase.
Here is a neat trick: Use floral scotch tape to make a grid across the top to hold the stems in place! They use special thin tape at the shop but any tape will work as long as you apply it to a dry edge.
Next, the greens around the edging should be the first thing to go in, this is your base. You can add to it later as needed, but you want something to get you started.
You should remove any leaves that will be beneath the surface of the water, that will keep the water clearer. Cut the stems at an angle and be careful of the length. You can always make a stem shorter, but you can’t make it longer!
Work from the outside in and look at your work from all sides, filling in as you go.
Let the stems show you what they want to do, they each have their own personality-and see how they interact with the others, but don’t be afraid to experiment by adding more or removing, shifting things around until it works.
Change the water frequently, as Nikki told me, if you wouldn’t want to drink the water, your flowers don’t either!
The designers create arrangements all day long to be delivered all over the city. It’s a lot more involved than I imagined, but everyone seemed to really enjoy the work.
Making your own arrangements can be fun, but having a professionally designed arrangement delivered is even more fun!😍
