As with all of our cabinetry, this custom walnut vanity was bench built and stain finished by hand by us. We paired it with polished‑nickel hardware and a clean white marble top to elicit contrasting elegance.

Where many might see an unassuming room, I see an opportunity for an addition that brings a true sense of character and quiet luxury.

Summer kitchens have a feeling all their own — light, open, and easy to live in.

In this Cape Cod home, our hand‑painted Scullery cabinetry sets the tone: classic proportions, a bright white finish, and a room that seems to hold the golden hour light long after the sun has moved.

But a true summer kitchen is also practical. Custom pull‑outs for poolside snacks, dedicated drawers for sunglasses and sun‑day essentials — these small details make the space feel effortless when the house is full and the doors are constantly opening to the outdoors.

It’s a reminder that seasonal living doesn’t have to be complicated. With the right cabinetry, thoughtful storage, and a palette that reflects the light, your kitchen can feel like summer every day of the year.

A well‑designed dressing room should feel like it was made just for you — calm, functional, and beautifully considered.

The space begins with a custom vanity complete with mirror paneling, and integrated storage.

Walk through the doorway and the room opens up into an airy, open‑plan dressing area, with space to sit, unwind, and take your time. From there, two walk‑in closet bays offer custom shoe racks, open shelving, and dedicated hanging space — all designed to keep your wardrobe visible, organized, and easy to live with.

One of my favorite details is the custom, hidden mirrors panels that unfold to create a boutique‑style moment. It’s perfect for getting ready in the morning (or for the night out).

Every element is crafted to make the room feel personal, comfortable, and quietly luxurious.

If you enjoy thoughtful design, custom cabinetry, and behind‑the‑scenes craftsmanship, follow along — we love sharing ideas that help you create spaces that feel beautifully tailored to the way you live.

A great pantry should feel as good to use as it does to look at.

This Refectory pantry in stained walnut is a perfect example — rich, moody, and beautifully hand crafted, with oversized polished‑nickel hardware that gives the piece its signature presence.

But, open the doors and you see what truly matters: thoughtful shelving, deep storage, and a layout designed to make everyday life easier.

I’ve always believed that beauty comes from function.

When cabinetry is built with intention — the right proportions, the right hardware, the right interior details — it becomes more than a statement piece. It becomes a working part of the home that brings clarity, order, and effortlessness to the kitchen.

This is why our Refectory pantries have become such a hallmark of our work: timeless design, crafted to be lived with. If you would like to see this exact piece, head to our Dallas showroom where it is on display.

Coastal homes carry with them a sense of ease, and this Bay Head project captures that beautifully.

In the main kitchen, our Refectory cabinetry is paired with its oversized polished‑nickel hardware — a combination that feels both substantial and refined.

The light‑finished oak coffee station adds a warm, beach‑house softness to the room, especially with the marble backsplash and floating shelves as they catch the morning light.

Just beyond the main house, the pool house carries the same palette but in a slightly more traditional direction. We used our Scullery style in a soft baby‑blue finish, again with polished nickel, to create a space that feels connected but distinct — relaxed, timeless, and perfectly suited to long summer days by the water.

Thoughtful cabinetry really does shape the entire character of a home. This is especially true in coastal settings where light, texture, and proportion matter so much.

There’s something special about a summer kitchen on Cape Cod — the light, the breeze, the sense that the whole house just breathes this time of year.

In this Falmouth project, the hand‑painted white cabinetry sets a beautifully calm foundation, while the walnut pull‑out drawers and end‑grain butcher block bring warmth and contrast to the room. The polished nickel hardware adds that classic coastal feel we love in a summer setting, and quietly elevates the entire space.

It’s a kitchen designed to feel effortless: bright mornings, long weekends, windows open, and everything in its place.

This project is a reminder that the simplest palette, crafted well, can create the most inviting summer home.

A kitchen remodel can feel overwhelming when you’re in the middle of it — dust everywhere, walls open, nothing where it should be.

Truthfully, we’re with you the whole way through, never letting go, making sure the final space feels effortless to live in (even before it’s finished).

Every kitchen deserves one moment that truly makes a statement, and in this home it’s the high‑gloss blue‑green pantry. Finished in our Lambourne style, it draws your eye the moment you walk into the room — rich, reflective, and full of presence.

I’ve always strongly felt that cabinetry can do more than serve a function; it can shape the entire character of a space. A bold color, a beautifully crafted door style, a thoughtful proportion — these are the details that turn a pantry into architecture. When you’re willing to let one element lead, the rest of the room naturally falls into place.

If you’re planning a kitchen, don’t be afraid to choose a piece that stands confidently on its own. A well‑designed focal point brings clarity, balance, and a sense of intention to the entire home.

When you’re working with 12‑foot ceilings, the instinct is often to take cabinetry all the way up — but proportion and practicality matter just as much as height.

Dropping the ceiling above the cabinetry creates a cleaner architectural line, keeps the room feeling balanced, and makes the space far more functional. After all, no one is reaching for a cabinet twelve feet in the air.

Thoughtful kitchen design is always about scale, sightlines, and usability. When you control the height and create strong proportions, the entire room feels calmer, more intentional, and beautifully resolved.

But really, why shouldn’t a pantry be grand?

This walnut icebox‑style pantry is one of our classic pieces, and in this home we elevated it even further with oversized Refectory hardware finished in 24k gold at the client’s request.

The scale, the warmth of the wood, the weight of the hardware — it all comes together to create a moment of real presence in the kitchen.

I’ve always believed that functional spaces deserve the same level of beauty and craftsmanship as the rest of the home. When you treat a pantry with this kind of intention, it becomes more than storage — it becomes architecture, character, and a daily reminder that the details matter.
